地元山口県をベースに活動、DJ massie そしてさすらいのレコードショップ FLOWERS OF ROMANCE としても知られる音楽人 KAZUMI MASUDA によるふたつのユニット “VOLT NUTZ” “SYS.” の音源を収録したスプリットアルバム『NOUVEAU』、PHANTOM MUSICよりリリース！
MASAKAZU HIROSE とのユニット “VOLT NUTZ” による有機エレクトロニカ箱庭散策、そしてソロ・アンビエントユニット “SYS.” による美しくも儚い霧の中の風景、それぞれ4曲ずつ収録。
ジャケットアートワークは KAZUMI MASUDA 本人によるもの。マスタリングは PHANTOM MUSIC / CHRISTMAS STUDIO にてわたくし CHAM（CMT）が手掛けました。
ちなみにこちら、PHANTOM MUSICでは初の自分以外の作品のリリースです。当初マスタリングの依頼だったのですが当レーベル的にも最高にばっちりハマる内容で、自然とリリースのかたちになり。
本作はもちろん、彼の広大な音楽世界のほんの一端ですが、彼と同じように音楽を愛するひとたちにゆっくりでも届いたらいいなと思い。

Based in Yamaguchi prefecture, the two units "VOLT NUTZ" by DJ massie and musician KAZUMI MASUDA, also known as the wandering record shop FLOWERS OF ROMANCE, are active in the local area. "NOUVEAU", a split album containing the sound sources of "SYS.", released from PHANTOM MUSIC!
The organic electronica box garden stroll by the unit "VOLT NUTZ" with MASAKAZU HIROSE, and the beautiful and fleeting scenery in the fog by the solo ambient unit "SYS. The album contains four tracks each.
Cover artwork by KAZUMI MASUDA himself. Mastering was done by CHAM (CMT) at PHANTOM MUSIC / CHRISTMAS STUDIO.
Incidentally, this is the first PHANTOM MUSIC release of a work by someone other than myself. We were originally commissioned to master the album, but the content was so perfect for the label that it naturally took the form of a release.
This album is of course just a small part of his vast musical world, but we hope it will reach people who love music as much as he does, even if slowly.
